Congratulations to Jumeirah Al Naseem named Favourite Hotel Resort For Dining at the Condé Nast Traveller, Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards in Abu Dhabi.
The awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.”
General Manager, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Azar Saliba, said: “It’s amazing to see how Jumeirah Al Naseem has transformed into a culinary destination for residents and travellers to Dubai. Congratulations and well done to our colleagues on this fantastic award!”
Home to 11 outlets, the seven Jumeirah-managed restaurants and bars follow the ‘Arabian Explorer’ theme. Going back several centuries, Arabs visited and settled across the Mediterranean, leaving behind cultural influences and inspiration across multiple regions and sectors – especially food.
The culinary team at Jumeirah Al Naseem has drawn on these influences to create an Arabian-inspired gastronomic journey for guests across the restaurants. At Rockfish, diners will discover an eclectic beach-front seafood restaurant offering Mediterranean classics with a taste of Arabia. At Summersalt Beach Club, the culinary concept is themed around the Spice Route and The Palmery’s cuisine was inspired by the region’s explorers during their time in Morocco, southern Spain and Tunisia.
2017 has been an award winning year!
Earlier in the year, Jumeirah Al Naseem, the fourth and final chapter of Madinat Jumeirah, was named ‘Best Hotel in Middle East 2017’ by the prestigious Prix Villegiature awards. The awards honour the world’s best hotels in 20 different categories and the winners were announced at a ceremony held at Château de Ferrieres near Paris.
The Villegiature Awards created in 2003 gather a voting Jury composed of 24 international press correspondents and journalists from famous media from around the world such as Conde Nast Traveller Spain, Die Zeit, France Televisions, Le Figaro, Financial Times, Marie Claire Italy and many others.
Every year they illuminate the best of the best hotels in Europe, Asia, Africa and Middle-East via a secret-ballot voting process.
The extensive lush gardens edge the sandy beach, providing pockets of privacy and peacefulness. Proudly overlooking Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, this is a place where the rhythmic lapping of the waves gently filters through a bedroom window left ajar. Where the smell of the sea is carried on a warm breeze across to rooms, open terraces and outdoor restaurants.
The hotel is the youngest member of the successful Arabian Resort’s family of hotels and has been crafted amongst the inland waterways, bustling Souk Madinat Jumeirah, award-winning Madinat Conference Centre and indulgent Talise Spa.
